What, why, how?
Well... leanDraft doesn't really do much. It's not going to make eggs in the morning or snuggle with you in the evenings. It doesn't even sync across devices or allow formating.
It's basically just a notepad. In a browser.
It's good for drafting texts, keeping random to-do's, thoughts and notes (like a Spark File or just for clearing your mind). Or whatever use you find for it.
Once opened, it doesn't rely on internet connection anymore: text is being saved in your browser's local storage and it's gonna be there even if you (accidentally) close the window.
Unless you like to delete cookies. LeanDraft needs cookies like a fat kid needs Twinkies. But if you keep leanDraft open while deleting it's cookies, it can 'resave' your text for you later.
I built this because I needed it, but who knows - maybe somebody else finds it useful too. Drop me a tweet @escane if you have comments or questions.
Btw, clicking or dragging the circle resizes the sidebar and pressing alt + S copies selected text from left to right.
